What Does Unlimited Mileage Mean in a Casablanca Car Rental?
Unlimited mileage means your rental has no kilometre allowance. We do not count distance. We do not bill by the kilometre.
Some marketplace listings cap daily distance at 200–250 km. They charge for every kilometre above it. That adds up fast on a Morocco road trip.
| Unlimited mileage | Limited mileage | |
|---|---|---|
| Daily km cap | None | Yes |
| Extra km fee | None | Charged above the cap |
| Route planning | Go where you like | Track the odometer |
| Best for | Road trips, multi-city travel | Short city use |
| Other costs | Fuel, tolls, parking still apply | Same, plus any overage |
What Unlimited Mileage Does Not Cover
Mileage is a distance rule. It does not make the whole trip free. These items follow separate rules:
- Fuel: full-to-full. Return the car with the fuel level you received.
- Tolls and parking: paid separately.
- Traffic fines: the driver’s responsibility.
- One-way drop-off: separate fee (see below).
- Insurance excess and exclusions: ask for the exact wording.
- Prohibited roads: off-road use can void insurance if your contract bans it.
- Driving abroad: needs permission first.
Will You Pay Extra If You Drive More Kilometres?
No. With Carrent Casablanca, extra kilometres cost 0 MAD. We set no daily cap and no overage rate.
Here is why that matters. This is an illustration, not a Carrent rate.
Imagine a plan that caps you at 200 km a day for 4 days. That allows 800 km. Now add up a realistic trip:
- Casablanca → Fes → Casablanca: about 600 km
- Casablanca → Marrakech → Casablanca: about 480 km
That is roughly 1,080 km. You are about 280 km over the cap before any city driving. On a capped plan, you pay that overage at the company’s rate. With us, distance adds 0 MAD.

How to Confirm Unlimited Mileage Before You Pay
- Ask for the mileage line in your WhatsApp quote.
- Check the rental agreement says unlimited km.
- Confirm your exact car is included.
- Keep the confirmation and signed contract in the car.

What Is the Best Car for Families in Casablanca?
For most families of four or five, the best car is the Hyundai Tucson, from 380 MAD/day. On a tighter budget, choose the Dacia Logan. For six or seven people, choose the Toyota Prado or a 7-seater van. For eight or more, choose the Hyundai Staria.
| Your family | Best pick | Why it works | From (per day) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3–4 people, budget | Dacia Logan | 5 seats, 510 L boot, ISOFIX points | 280 MAD |
| 4–5 people, comfort | Hyundai Tucson | 470 L boot, rear AC vents, 5-star Euro NCAP | 380 MAD |
| 5–7 people, tight budget | 7-seater van | Seven seats at the lowest rate | About 380 MAD |
| 6–7 people, adults or grandparents | Toyota Prado | Adult-sized third row, full-time 4×4 | 1,100 MAD |
| 8 or more people | Hyundai Staria | 9–11 seats, automatic, sliding rear doors | 1,400 MAD |
Is the Dacia Logan Good for a Family?
Yes, for a family of four, and for five with normal luggage. It is a 5-seat sedan with a 510 L boot. That is bigger than the Dacia Sandero (up to 410 L) and Renault Clio 5 (391 L).
What you get with the Dacia Logan:
- 4–5 full suitcases without folding seats
- ISOFIX points, 6 airbags, ABS and ESP
- Diesel at 4.4 L/100 km, petrol at 5.1 L/100 km
- Unlimited mileage from 280 MAD/day
What to know first:
- Manual is standard. Automatic (CVT) is on request and depends on dates.
- Air conditioning is manual.
- It is a standard sedan, not an SUV. For Atlas gravel tracks or Sahara approach roads, pick an SUV or 4×4.
- For three child seats, the Tucson’s wider rear bench is easier.
Hyundai Tucson: Best Overall Family Pick
The Tucson suits two adults and two or three children. It has rear AC vents for hot summer drives and a 5-star Euro NCAP rating. Compare more options in our best SUV to rent in Casablanca for families guide.
Seven or More Passengers
Seven seats do not mean seven suitcases. A third row uses boot space. Before you book, send us:
- Number of adults and children (with ages)
- Large suitcases and cabin bags
- Stroller or baby gear
We then confirm the right car. Compare the 7-seater car rental and 7-seater van for families pages. Seven adults with seven large suitcases need the Staria or two cars.
Child Seats
Our family guides list baby seats (ages 0–4) and booster seats (ages 4–12) at no extra charge. Reserve them when you book. Summer stock is limited.
